Please read the following statement from the Port de Grave Peninsula Heritage Society Inc.
The Port de Grave Peninsula Heritage Society wishes to bring to the attention of the Public that just recently a visitor to the Green Point Light House site came across a bag of garbage which had been thrown there deliberately.
The Society has carried out there own assessment by cleaning up the mess and while doing so examined the garbage bag contents where the name of a person and their telephone number was discovered on at least two different pieces of paper. This will entail further investigation.
The Society wishes to advise those responsible that careful observation of the area will be implemented shortly. We request the assistance of the General Public to keep a close observation of the area and report any suspicious activity to either of the Directors. In addition we want to thank the general public for your tremendous support and concern regarding this matter
