The Annual War Memorial Day service with the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 32, Bay Roberts, was held at the St. Luke’s Anglican Church on Sunday, June 23 at 11 am.
After the service everyone moved to the War Memorial next to St. Luke’s Hall in Port de Grave for the laying of wreaths.

Hey everyone we have updated our Picnic App to The Peninsula Experience, the app includes all you need to know about the Peninsula including picnic areas, and Christmas events!
Please go in on your Apple or Android phone or iPad stores and download the Peninsula Experience App. This APP will guide you through the Peninsula, places that you can have a picnic or just do the tour. Easy to use all you do is click on the tour and it will take you to different places on the Peninsula, you will members of the Society and Community give a description.

“Leslie H. Noseworthy is a well known businessman and artist, based in St.John’s, Newfoundland. Born in St.John’s in 1945, Leslie began his life long quest as an artist under tutelage of ‘Ish’ Humber a master at Bishop Field College. In 1966 Leslie founded a commercial art and graphics firm and has continued to the present day plying his craft. His art work can be found in numerous public, cooperate and private collections across North America, South America and the UK.
We are honored to have Leslie as one of our major supporters. Leslie recently donated a beautiful painting to the Port de Grave Peninsula Heritage Society, “St. Mark’s Church and the Old Schoolhouse” now the Canon Richards Tearoom.
We are now selling blank cards 5″ x 7″ with envelope for $4.00 each.
