Vern was a member of the Port de Grave Peninsula Heritage Society since the very beginning back in the 90’s and have been a dedicated member right up to the time of his passing. Not only with the Heritage but with the Fishermen’s Museum. His love for the peninsula and his volunteer work will be missed. He was always there to lend an hand, his truck, his tools, his financial support whatever you needed and he had it we got it!
He will be missed around the table when we have our meetings or just to meet for a lunch. When we meet again, he will be fondly remember and there will be many conversations of Vern and how much he will be missed.
