This afternoon, we were thrilled to join in welcoming Ken McDonald, MP Avalon, Minister Bernard Davis, Department of Tourism, Culture, Industry and Innovation and Pam Parsons, MHA Harbour Grace-Port De Grave District in announcing funding in support of the Port De Grave Peninsula Heritage Society.

These significant investments of $267,000 from the Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency (ACOA) and $94,000 from the Department of Tourism, Culture, Industry and Innovation (TCII) will support the ongoing efforts of the Port De Grave Peninsula Heritage Society in activating its vision to grow the local economy by sharing the peninsula’s history, cultural heritage and natural landscape and will assist with the implementation of economic initiatives and regional development along the Port De Grave Peninsula.
