Clapboard Workshop at Porter House Museum, Port de Grave. A hands-on, 2-day workshop at Porter House Museum to learn to assess, repair, install and paint traditional wood siding. Who should attend?: Carpenters, contractors, owners of old homes, craftspersons, volunteers or staff with nonprofits involved in the care or restoration of historic wooden buildings, anyone with an interest in learning the skills. IMPORTANT INFO REGARDING THE PIG ROAST: Starts at 5 pm, you have the option of eating inside or outside, tables will be set up both places. If there is rain everyone will eat inside. You can bring children, there will be hot dogs and hamburgers available. If you are planning on eating outside, we ask that you kindly bring your own chair. Thank you! We invite you to join us for some swashbuckling fun for Pirates at the Harbour on Sunday, August 22 between 5 and 7 pm. We are holding a COVID Membership Drive 2021, did you know that being a member of the Society, it doesn’t mean that you have to attend meetings unless you want to. It means away of supporting the Society in its undertaking of present and future projects.

The Port de Grave Peninsula Heritage Society is very proud to announce that we have started our Music and Friends 2021 program. This program is for our Seniors and those who are Disabled.
We have hired two Singers/Musicians Lauren Deering, and Phillip Clarke.
Lauren is from Port de Grave and attending University, a beautiful singer and she is looking forward to entertaining you either by in-person visits or virtually.
Phillip Clarke is from Bay Roberts and attending Ascension Colleigate. Phillip plays the guitar and also a beautiful singer. He to is looking forward to entertaining you.
The program runs until March 31, 2021.
