1st Annual Pig Roast

Hey everyone its Labour Day Weekend coming up and we have a great day planned for Saturday, starting at 2 pm with a book signing with Vernon Petten and at 2:30 pm Jim Wellman, make sure you drop by and get your books and meet the authors.5 pm is the Pig Roast there are only 7 tickets left, please call Effie at 786-6669 to order and pick up your tickets.

IMPORTANT INFO REGARDING THE PIG ROAST: Starts at 5 pm, you have the option of eating inside or outside, tables will be set up both places. If there is rain everyone will eat inside. You can bring children, there will be hot dogs and hamburgers available. If you are planning on eating outside, we ask that you kindly bring your own chair. Thank you! “Come join us for our 1st annual Pig Roast at Canon Richard’s Tea Room, Saturday, September 4th! We will be serving cuts of slow roasted succulent pig served with a variety of cold salads, rolls, special hog sauce, and desert! 
Also, we will be featuring a meet the author and book signings featuring Vern Petten and Jim Wellman at The Fishermen’s Museum and Hibb’s Hole School House. 
2:00 pm – Introduction of Vernon Petten and book signing (Hibbs Hole School House)
2:30 pm – Introduction of Jim Wellman and book signing (Fishermen’s Museum)
4:30 pm – Both authors will be at Canon Richard’s Tea Room for meet and greet and book sales.
The Shalloway Rentals will be open all day! Why not enjoy a relaxing day on the pond while rediscovering a part of our history!”
